Christmas gift list and budget tracker
Set the total first, then split it by person, and write down what each gift really cost: that is the whole method. In the National Retail Federation’s 2025 survey, shoppers planned $627.93 each on gifts for family and friends, out of $890.49 for the season.
Three ways to keep it
On paper. The list below prints on one page: who, the budget, the gift, what it cost, and boxes for bought, wrapped and given. Keep last year’s sheet, and nobody gets the same thing twice.
In a spreadsheet. The file opens in Excel, or in Google Sheets with File, Import. The totals at the foot add themselves up, and the last line is what’s left of the budget.
From your haul. Give the finds you like a person and a budget with + on any card, then print your own list: your people and budgets come filled in, with a code that opens the haul on a phone.
