Wrapped candy, something cozy, something for the evening and a few fillers that aren’t food. A basket left on a neighbor’s porch should hold only factory-wrapped treats: the FDA tells parents that children should not accept, let alone eat, anything that isn’t commercially wrapped. For a child with a food allergy, FARE’s Teal Pumpkin Project suggests non-food treats like glow sticks; the tattoos and spider rings here are the same idea.
